This was wrong. I smiled. I am God here. I stopped running. I sat in the air cross-legged and put my hands in front of me. I floated towards a brick wall. I shattered the brick wall into powder just to show my assailant that I could. I opened my eyes as wide as I could. I only get a few fleeting glimpses of the majesty of the world from the sky. I looked at all of the leaves on the trees. I could see the branches, leaves, and trunks in vivid detail. All of this was inside of me. I looked down beyond the forest and saw a college campus. I flew down and walked amongst the mortals. I stood transfixed before a beautiful 19-year-old student. She was a pale redhead with light freckles. I just stood there and stared. She looked at me uncomfortably. "Uh, what do you want?" she asked. I smiled. "Do you want to see a trick?" I asked. She looked uncomfortable. "Trust me," I said, "Close your eyes." She closed her eyes. "When you open your eyes everything will be red," I said. We both closed our eyes. When we opened them everything was red. The school, the sky, the trees, the sun, the grass -- all were different shades of red. "Close your eyes again," I said. And again we both did. This time when we opened our eyes the world was blue. Blue trees, leaves, grass, sun and sky. "Purple," she said. And the world was purple. I cupped her face in my hands. I kissed her, we laid down and had sex before the entire campus. She began to cry in the heat of passion. "Are you in my mind?" she asked. "No," I said, "You are inside of my mind." Permalink to this post. |
